Paris Hilton, Making a Joke of our Country One Step at a Time

Wow, that was quick. CNN Entertainment is reporting that Paris Hilton was released from jail today. If it seems like it was just yesterday that she started her 45 day sentence, well, that's because it basically was. The court is allowing her to serve the rest of her sentence on house arrest, citing medical reasons. The medical concern? She refused to eat her jail food! If anyone thinks she didn't have sex with the warden, that's asinine. In all seriousness though, what's the over/under on number days until the tape surfaces?

I think she was being treated unfairly in the first place, I was watching CNN and they were talking about how, in California, for prison sentences under 50 days, people basically walk up to get booked and are released immediately. They couldn't do this for her, however, because of the public outcry. So, I think she did enough anyway, and I'm sure they took the fact that she didn't really need to be there into consideration. (but it doesn't take away from the fact that it's embarassing she couldn't hack it for even a week)

Wow. I thought I was the only one who considered the "personal favors to the warden/sheriff to get out" angle on the story. Good job and well done. Keep up the good work.
